Sorry families- I've been a little overwhelmed getting this year going.
Last
week we worked on water. We focused on the water cycle, remembering all of that hard vocab with fun songs, and also how energy moved the cycle along. Our experiment was a focus on the affect water had when traveling through color pen marks. I am so very excited to be working with these students- they constantly surprise me with their interest and willingness to try their best!
This week we
will be working on dinosaurs. I want to focus on the different types of
dinos, the many periods when dinos lived, and especially fossils.
Hopefully our experiment will be on fossils, making some of our own and
even excavating (if all goes well :)
